FLOWER ANNIVERSARY GIFTS

FIRST YEAR - CARNATIONS
Carnations are easy to get and can come in some great arrangements from Interflora.
SECOND YEAR - COSMOS
Cosmos don't seem to be generally available from florists, so you may have to think outside the square on this one. You could plant them in advance and they are seasonal, so you may need to do it super early.
THIRD YEAR - SUNFLOWER
Sunflowers are relatively accessible from florists around the place or you could get a crystal/glass figurine of a Sunflower!
FOURTH YEAR - GERANIUM
Check your local florist and/or Gumtree for Geraniums.
FIFTH YEAR - DAISY
Daisies are easy to get and are very common.
SIXTH YEAR - CALLA LILIES
Shop around for Calla Lilies, Bunnings have them and I'm sure some florists would too. You could also plant them in advance if you've got the time and place.
SEVENTH YEAR - FREESIAS
Many florists have Freesias, including bouquets. Apparently they last quite a while in a vase, so you could potentially purchase them a little in advance - not sure how you'd go hiding them though as they are quite fragrant!
As per other years, if you have the time and a somewhat green thumb, you could plant them in advance. Timing-wise, information says that they are winter-spring; hopefully that works out for you!
EIGHTH YEAR - LILAC
Shop around for Lilacs at your local florist.

NINETH YEAR - BIRD OF PARADISE
Shop around for Bird of Paradise at your local florist or try online.
